NBC has yet to show much confidence in the show, so the 13th episode usually has some closure just in case.

Last year, it ended with Chuck shooting Shaw in Paris and then idled for a few weeks while they figured out what to do once the show got picked up. Seems to be the same story this season as well.

Also, they actually knew about the Back 11 here, so they won't have to flounder around for too long.. but yeah, it's always a bubble show, so the last couple seasons, they haven't been sure if it was going to keep going or not.

If they knew about the 11, they should've left some wiggle room for Volkoff, should've changed up the Volkoff ending a bit.. had him on the run or something. Dalton is quite possibly their best villain, shame to get rid of him.

Like being locked up will stop anyone in this show. As long as he's not dead, there's always possibility of coming back. Even then, there are still some cases where it can happen.

Yeah.. Volkoff's being sent to a holding facility. I'm sure we'll see him again. It would have been different if he got shot in the head or something.

Idk, it would be different if he had gotten away imo. Being locked up AND having his whole network taken apart kind of lessens my suspension of disbelief for having him come back as an arch villain.

Also wtf do they go from here next season? I mean I get the next incarnation of Fulcrum > The Ring > Volkoff, but how the fuck do they work in Chuck's family? He has an uncle or third cousin who was fighting the new KGB all this time?

He's been an evil mastermind for years, so his backstory says, so I am sure the writers will find a way to say he's had a project hidden away secretly all this time, etc.

Think about last season, and where we went from 3.13 on. Yeah, the Ring was still there and then Shaw came back.. but there's stuff they can still build on. Big story arcs? Probably not, but smaller, separate, stand alone missions? Don't see a problem there.

Also, who cares. I tune in to watch Yvonne Strahotski (Strahovski) perform and look hot.

As much as I love Casey, I kind of wish that he hadn't pulled the OHO I TOOK OFF THE MONITOR business. Would have been a very holy shit I can't believe they did that moment.

As awesome as Morgan/Casey are, last night having a return to Chuck/Morgan schemes like earlier episodes was nice. Hopefully they come up w/ some new team ups cause as funny as they are together, I feel Casey loses something ALWAYS being the bumbling comedic relief w/ Morgan.

Most of that was because Linda Hamilton played the part horribly. The only scene she was respectable in was her last dialogue with Volkoff last night.

I love Linda Hamilton, but I do agree. She played the part rather flat, but then again.. a 20 year mission will probably do that to ya, you know? Still, though. Happy she's not in a Volkoff role anymore, and can play a happier version.

I sincerely hope they find a way to work Dalton back in every now and then because he was fantastic.
