I really enjoyed the finale for this. I don't generally get attached to a show and care that it's done, but I'm really going to miss this one. Especially with scenes like the belly dancing one going away.

I'm actually okay with not knowing whether or not she gets all, or even any of her memories back. Like they said in the episode, he made her fall in love him with before. Clearly she was starting to remember things, like in the Weinerlicious. Would like to know what eventually happens, but I can deal.

Someone needs to hurry up and get Yvonne Strahovski into another role though, god damn.

Actually enjoyed the ending being left open. Guess I'm that way though, Inception, Eternal Sunshine, and Vanilla Sky are all some of my favorite movies so nice to see a long running series dare to do it.

While the story with Sarah losing her memories was fine, I felt it had to be rushed to fit into the end of the show. It would've been better had it happened about midseason and she was able to get her memories back by the last couple episodes. I think she will regain them from that ending though.

Yeah. I loved both episodes. The drama. The tension. The comedy (in 5.13.. especially with Chuck shooting down Casey's helicopter with his own gun, rofl) but the last couple minutes.. I just wish we could have seen a scene post-kiss to show Sarah remembering, albeit slowly.

After five awesome years I am sad to see the show go out on such a weak note. The last few episodes definitely felt rushed. The whole memory arc could have been the primary story throughout the season culminating in Sarah remembering everything for the finale. Not a fan of the bitter sweet ending at all. Still, it was an awesome ride. Now if only they could find some way to bring both Zachary Levi and Yvonne onto Castle with the star of my last favorite cancelled show Nathan mother fucking Fillion!

And the whole thing sets them up for a continuation if the chance ever permits. Chuck still has the intersect, Becman said if they ever want to come back they can, and Chuck and Sarah story still lives on, much like life.

Great finale, reminded me of why I've watched for the past 5 years, and didn't disappoint.

In regards to the flash of a memory, that's actually what I wanted. I wanted maybe.. 15-30 seconds extra post-kiss so she could remember *something*.. maybe quote a line, and have Chuck smile then kiss her again, and THEN wrap it there with the fade to black. That would have been much more satisfying to me.

If it had ended with a single kiss sparking back all her memories I would have been pissed, but with Chuck's persistence and Serah giving him a fair shot (because she knows they had something, otherwise she wouldn't be where she was and let Chuck kiss her) gives a lot of hope for their future.

As for wanting a hint of memory, I feel like they were hinting at Serah's memory getting recovered during the entire finale. The montage they had with Chuck retelling Serah their story obviously meant more to Serah than it did to us, otherwise she wouldn't be tearing up or laughing while listening. I feel like that was a moment of hope for them both, and the kiss sort of just sealed the deal. Perhaps that was the wrong order to take for Chuck, but I feel like it worked a lot better this way and definitely feels less cheesy. Though it is Chuck, some cheese is perfectly acceptable.

It felt very rushed, and I feel like Chuck getting the intersect back is just how a season finale should be, not really a series finale. I feel like if they planned to continue on Chuck, it would be with Serah's recovering memory rather than a quick fix. But I was surprised and honestly proud of Chuck for not taking the easy, super convenient way out like it does for most situations. I agree about it ending before it was driven too far into the ground. Ratings had slipped, but it went out with a bang for a Friday night show.

I agree with a lot of what you said, and yeah.. I know they'd hinted at her memory coming back (Weinerlicious, the virus, etc) but I suppose I was a little greedy and just wanted a momentary spark after the kiss to see her face.. maybe remember a past kiss, and then Chuck's all excited, and they kiss again to close it out. A couple days afterward, though.. and I've come to terms with it. I'm not a fan of bittersweet endings, but I'm not mad at it anymore, Haha.

There was a lot of spy-related crap (much like past episodes) that could have been bypassed all together.. and yet again, more Intersect rewriting in terms of it's mythology, but what can you do? These writers tend to erase their whiteboards and not keep track of important plot points, Lol. Still.. I'm glad they didn't go the 'intersect glasses giving her memory back' route and yeah.. Chuck's persistence along with Sarah's knowledge of them being in love will be plenty enough for them to travel that path together to get her memories back.

Was perfectly happy with the ending, sad to see it go, but okay with it. I was half expecting the kiss to give her a flash though, or have a scene with one of them leaving the house they wanted. I thought the Jeffster song with the symphony was AWESOME. Overall the last ep (or hour, whatever) was everything I have come to love, expect, and will miss from Chuck.

And they did stretch it out a little. Remember how it was supposed to be canceled like.. three seasons in a row? Glad they did get a decent ending. I've finally come to terms with it, though. It still stinks they ended like that.. but they ended with a lot of hope at least.

And HIMYM.. last two episodes have been pretty great.
