i assume its randomized based on theaters
Didn't Training Day do that? Or was it for DVD only?
haha sure ill go see the finished movie in the theaters but ill be damned if i travel from theater to theater to pay for a few more minutes of stuff that should have been in the movie to begin with.
Company I currently work for is doing an employee onry screening of this nonsense on Wednesday next week. Hur hur, skippin'.
good thing i was drunk and able to make fun of it the whole time or i might not have enjoyed myself
Just saw it tonight, and it was definitely "meh." Too bad, really.
X3 pushed this movie franchise off the dock, and Origin is proof that the ship has sailed. Let's forget "Spider-Man 3" ever happened and fix that series, then get along with "Iron Man 2" and maybe even some more "The Incredible Hulk," please.
Ya they really screwed things up with X3. This movie wasn't as bad as that one, but that doesn't make it good either. It was just kinda, eh.
Saw it last night, showing was sold out. Looks like it'll have a pretty nice opening weekend.
As for the movie itself, I thought it was okay. Like most people have said, it was too short and the story felt rushed. I would have enjoyed another 20-30 minutes of film stretching some moments out and providing a bit more back story. It felt like too many things just "happened", and the emotional moments were never given enough time to develop.
The movie is probably best described as the good, the bad, and the ugly. Hugh Jackman, as always, was awesome as Wolverine. Liev Schreiber was particularly good as Sabretooth, and any scene with him and Jackman was fantastic.
I thought Gambit and Wade Wilson were fine, but they weren't given any time at all to develop. Wilson started off promising, but he was only in the film for all of 5 minutes. Gambit looked promising, but was only in the film in the last 5 minutes.
So yeah, another 30 minutes of good story telling would have tremendously benefited the film. It was okay, standard popcorn stuff, but I was hoping for more.
Spoiler: show
There I saved you 5mins of credits.
