Whats the qualifications for your recruits getting you XP. I see that if they level up you get an XP point, but I tried that and my guy didn't see any XP when his recruits leveled. Is there a mandatory level gap between master and recruit?

At this point I think EVERYTHING is random. Sometimes when I get a new pupil I get one exp. Sometimes I don't.

Sometimes when one of my pupils lv I get 1 exp. Sometimes I don't. Weapons, pets, EVERYTHING random

Yours has the club which hits really fucking hard, but it misses like 95% of the time against anything with halfass decent agi.

Inevitable My Brute is my master, but he's awful. If you want to see something hilarious, bring a brute with a weapon against Flamestar My Brute .... she has STEAL. She'll throw a net on you, rob your damn weapon, and then beat you to death with it. Too bad she sucks horribly against anyone with martial-based prowess. I'm focusing on her because Thief is fucking crazy and I love it. I have like a dozen of them though, some better than others, some so bad I literally use them as training dummies.

I'm also working on Crumbling Seal My Brute who looks promising. High speed, decent agility, a knife, knife mastery, and a speed-raising talent.

So, from what I can tell EVERYTHING is random except for how much XP you get. If you win, 2. If you lose, 1. I've gotten 2 xp for beating a level 2 character as a level 3 character, but I don't know how far that goes. I DO know that it is possible to get literally NOTHING from leveling up. Stat boosts are random, but you have a very high chance to get some other bonus -- a weapon or an ability. But it's NOT 100%.
