There's plenty wrong with it, don't let the fact that most Aegis-owners don't use a single piece of shield gear distract you from the uselessness of quite a bit of what he's wearing.

Well, I mean, there's a time and a place for looking like that, and there's certainly a plethora of times and places for using shield-gear, but his equipment is far from the practical form of ideal.

I suppose I just expect people that will put in the type of effort required to attain a relic weapon to be a tad more meticulous about their gear-sets, its whatev~

Looks like a rather good /BLM idle set to me, ignoring the egg. I have 5 different idle sets, and it's possible this guy does as well. There's nothing wrong with wearing shield skill if you know you're going to take hits; it'd be dumb not to wear it actually.
