In a completely unrelated conversation, I learned last night in Dynamis that "people of importance" are just people who

1) Shout a lot in Whitegate
2) Cause a lot of drama
or
3) Both

(met a new RDM with HNM/mission reward items -meaning she's been around a long time- that wasn't a server transfer and I had NEVER met before.)

So I've decided I'm glad to not be a person of importance
