Honestly, I don't seen the big deal with it. It's not like HQ gives you any more movement speed. /shrug -- I NQ'ed mine. I just didn't see the point in another point or two of resistances and MP.

If I were to nitpick anything, it'd probably be the rings. HQ Behemoths at least...not like they're really expensive. (Or even something in the strength/ranged attack venue, honestly.)

Back in the days of inflation I HQ my Ehands for 11mil, obviously a dumbass maneuver so now when I finally got wlegs, I NQ'd for sure, not doing that again. Just a personal experience

Fair enough; I can say in the case of a few people I know, though, they got their wyrmal legs years ago when crafters, supply of dragon blood and general gil and goods were not as readily available, and they've since long finished with sky. I can't blame them for not going back and fighting with the (still!) massive number of people (at least on Seraph) who still want them just to replace NQ with HQ.

I've had this discussion with people in my linkshell before, and I really feel the HQ is worth it. W legs is always contested in any linkshell because drop is bad, and most end game shells ignore Kirin alot so the w legs supply isn't that big. I got lucky and got mine on my first Kirin set in SA (<3 Vey!) and luckily the bank had a rule where it would buy you any cursed piece and give you up to 1m towards a -1. Blood legs happened to be 1m at the time so the bank picked me up a pair. I can guarantee that if that rule hadn't existed I would have saved the abjuration until I got the -1 in my possession. It's Aesthetic except for Fire Resist sure, but so is my Sniper's +1.

It makes sense, though, considering Crimson/Blood Cuisses are the most powerful abjuration item in the game and Kirin is still a pain in the ass to organise even nowadays. I don't see how 25M is that astounding at all considering people pay upwards of 40M for Nidhogg bodies.
