Not really sure what that was supposed to clear up. I can't think of a single instance in which most of that equipment should be equipped at the same time.

Cheap? Burtgang is as (or more) expensive than Excal on my server.

Eh? At Phoenix market value Burtgang is between 90 and 120M, and Excalibur is 164M (200M if you don't have the final 3k loan).

Using 6k byne/11k shell/12k bronze for prices.

If you fund your own Dynamis runs (In addition to buying smart) for the currency it might end up being even-to or less than Burtgang. Not completely sure though.

I wish people would stop using this logic.

Sponsoring Dynamis is like getting money put in your pocket, it doesn't change the value of relics the slightest.
