Ehh, usually for me at least. Sometimes BS just plain happens floors up on boss runs; that and a few random hyper Cerbs happen a bunch. (That might just be the fault of players rushing to the boss to actually have time to fight though.)

Normal climbing runs are more amazing for statics and groups of close friends who know what they are doing for token output-- yesterday for example all but one of our runs we ended up with 8~12 mins to spare after completing the 5 required. (floor 45~65). Had a number of 85+ climbing runs with the same outcome as well.

Ironically however, my best run was a Floor 95 -> 100 -> 4 (104) run.

Been lazy and gone, but as my chat log states, this is the 4th Tizona on my server. In comparison I might be the closest NA to it, unless someone comes out randomly (Blue Mage is a very popular job amongst JP on my server).

Have a JP on my server that is really close, and I know 2 NA's who are... well... not very.

That's the problem with comparing individual gear choices.

Bravura = best GA in the game
E.body = best body in the game
Pole grip = best grip in the game

But combined they aren't the best gear set.

I have a fucking epic collection of best grips (lacking Rose and Shark myself). Let's see... the grand list of situations where a grip beats all others:

Spear strap: 3% critical hitrate, 1% hitrate for my gondo setup in merits, no grip beats that
Claymore grip: anything with high level and defense (low pDIF, basically) this is the best
Sword strap: when it doesn't break x-hit it's the general best
Pole grip: general best when sword does break x-hit
Rose strap: when it allows for an x-hit and 2% DA or -3% delay is the least sacrifice
Brave grip: Mighty Strikes zerg
Platinum grip +1: low hitrate, this is the best. Also when sword strap breaks soboro 6-hit and uncapped hitrate
Shark strap: NIN or RDM tank
Axe grip: RNG when Rose does nothing

And tbh, for some one who is unable to do sTP calculation pole is the best grip, because (with the exception of Bravura owners) it is idiot proof.

Far, but not as far as I want to be. For once, gil for Alex isn't my problem at all, but my major problem is that it seems no one wants to help me kill the ToAU NMs on this server. >.> 131/150k into Tokens, 60/100k into amps, 1/3 T4 pops (with two LSes selling me the other two when avail). I might just make a 5th mule and overstock Alex while I wait. XD

I'm 0/5 on Medusa myself, because no one wants to kill her on this server too. We always end up going with 3-4 people less than we should and just can't take her down :/ Making a 2nd mule for Alex because I filled up the first one (and satchel) :/

u just have to convince people you are no longer black, then they will help. but then again 90% of our servers players are either bums or have quit all together, most of the OG players are done. even the new transfer in bums who just came to try to whore gil are quitting too. (wont say no names)

and getting relic(s) causes u to become bored with the game after like 2 weeks of having it.
