Im fairly sure he said that Coronach was never thoroughly tested, although it seemed to follow namas arrow static enmity; maybe even less.

I dont know where people are getting -set enmity values for the aftermath; as far as I know no testing has been done to test it and its just generally accepted. All we know is it has some weird hate mechanic. Unless someone can link me to some proof, Im fairly sure its gone mostly untested.

As for namas arrows ACC. I remember that thread and it did have a higher acc than what it should have had; so either it gets the 1st hit WS ACC boost Y/G/K get or the aftermath gets applied. Im sure this would be easier tested with kaiten.

Testing's been done already.. kaeko's nailed the values of coronach's hate value and aftermath. Coronach gives 80 CE and 240 VE while names gives double. Numbers are in Kaeko's LJ as well as in these posts:

Both Gun and Bow relic WS have fixed hate. Namas Arrow is something like 160 CE / 480 VE while Coronach is 80 CE / 240 VE (the exact same as Hojo:Ni, which was used in the example above). Coronach as the addition enmity down stat aftermath which I don't have numbers for.

If either WS misses, you generate no enmity (same as any missed attack or WS).

Nowadays, a well geared RNG can probably pull hate w/o WS damage on some things so the Coronach added effect seems very useful. I don't have numbers for it but by very stories, it's quite potent.

I can vouch for the -20 enmity aftermath on Coronach. I verified Vodou's math via PM. It's just -20 enmity added on top of gear/merit enhancements (TP only affects duration).

-50 enmity would be a little too strong don't you think?

Just wanted to remind you all that Relic aftermath is active during the weapon skill. This is why I get the Store TP effect of Kaiten on every Kaiten regardless of whether I Kaiten while the aftermath effect is still on from the previous Kaiten.

I hear what you're saying. We know Kaiten does and the fact that you gain the aftemath whether it lands or not is strongly indicative (but not proof).

Yeah, it was tough. I ended up going with the Mirke 10 RATK + Snap since it is a bigger boost for RNG than the DW one is for THF, and since I'll be using SAM a lot, and I have maat's, I got the SAM head w/ 4 STR 4 AGI WS ACC / WS DMG since my RACC is much lower on SAM than it is on RNG. If I realize I'm using straight RNG significantly more than SAM however, I'll probably go back to Anwig with the same stats for RNG.

I know for sure it's active on kaiten, namas and coronach. I would assume the aftermath effect is active on every relic ws.


The following I think is correct:

The -20 enmity affects all enmity actions on the WS and during the aftermath, does not perform a reset (in any fashion) and stacks with gear and merits up to -50. (It can combine with JA -enmity such as stealth in a multiplicative, not additive fashion to reach a -75 cap.)

It's certain that you will accumulate CE/VE on yoichi faster than coronach, but depending on the conditions, they may appear to work similarly.

One is a solid number and one is a percentage of another number. 30% can be 30, 8, 100, square root of -1, or my current post count. -30 is -30.

No, he means when an item has in the description "Enmity -5" that means a 5% drop in enmity.

So the aftermath was found to be -20%, which if you translate in to descriptions (as most people can relate to that) you get "Aftermath is -20 Enmity"

Its like double attack. WAR AF feet say "Double attack +1", that doesn't mean they add 1 more DA... it means they add 1%.
