It's most likely accurate. FFXIAH went over to listing only LS Community profile verified relics/caps some time ago. Still, Maat's Cap and 2 relics in ~7 months? No way that character is played by only one person.

If he was the recipient of a large windfall (i.e. being given rich friends' accounts to strip) it's not inconceivable. Missions and ABing Maat's Cap don't really take that long at all, especially if you're a no-lifer with lots of people to help you. Nearly every single one of my friends was banned, I haven't been able to play all that much during term time, I've not been in any enormously successful shells and yet I've managed to get four 75s (plus another soon-to-be 75), near-capped merits, completed CoP/ZM, almost-completed AU (laziness), CS Assault rank (again, laziness), and a good deal of nice gear and gil since restarting from scratch in February.

I'm sorry if I'm a bit lost, but it's being implied that Thetom was new since April 2009? His gear equip history dates back to 2008, and that may only include when he decided to start showing his gear on FFXIAH.com. His Maat's cap, for instance, dates in June 2008.

Well that clearly doesn't match up with his equip history. I call BS (not on you, but on the fact that its a new character). I can see someone taking over the account since April, but the actual character seems to have been around for a long time.
