As long as Atonement is viable(most mobs), flashing in a 5ENM/FC ACP body is going to yield lower enmity over time than using that ACP body to chop a swing off getting 100% TP, especially when, as its been said, ACP isn't even always the best flash-piece.

Tsuko, that's a weak argument; you have to show, not say, that the enmity is higher with acc 10/stp 4 than anything else he has on PLD.

Keep in mind there's acc 15 str 6 atk 12 haub +1, then the aforementioned acc 4 stp 8 aurum, then the popular str 12 atk 24 refresh+1 ares. Haub and Ares would help greatly if some of your hits are 0. Not so much for the excal, but for the kc offhand... maybe I jest.

As I say, it's a messy argument rife with situational presumptions.

By the way, does the HP/4 damage count toward enmity? If so, someone had better correct big wiki.

Considering that ACP body is not the best flash piece I think your argument is shitty at best. Ares is situational. Hauby/Homam are better in most situations. Cutting a swing off atonement would be the *best* body piece and very easily better than a EMN/FC, that doesn't give max emn in the slot, for flash and has a recast/casttime- that is not altogether game breaking. This is all assuming you have normal buffs (Haste and at least one march combined with decent gear).

Yes, aurum could work but really only if you had a pt that could either have brd cor, brd brd, or have the bard sacrifice either one or both marches for madrigal which is a terrible idea since I would rather devote the extra brd or cor to a more useful pt >.>
