I sat and did the numbers myself and concluded 5 hit wasn't worth it compared to a proper haste build but I have no hard numbers to back it up so its all my opinion of course but I'd like to see any parses with you because I honestly doubt you could out parse a 6hit with far better ws gear than what you sacrifice to use to get your 5hit. Also as someone who has had Amanno for some time the +20 doesn't mean shit. I wiff plenty of kaitens

All I said was I didn't think it would do the same numbers, and yes having Aftermath up would be the key to your setup and as you said isn't practical. None the less your not putting up any numbers either so its just your opinion as well.

You listed them as your dream sets, my bad. And how am I supposed to know what's a joke? You make a comment basically implying that you need to stack accuracy on Kaiten, or, that's how I read it, expect to get chewed out.

Also, my first post kinda mentioned that it's not too realistic to keep up aftermath fulltime, and my second post specifically mentioned carbonara, aftermath, and the exact items I was using.

Also, I did put up #s, I've posted exact stat differences as opposed to your "Far better WS gear" which comes out to 9str. Also, there isn't even any reason to go into specifics because unless we're talking about haste samba, 2hred march, dusk+1 and hasso, it isn't even really close.

Those were very old and none of them made sense cause I always used those as just way to see what stats would turn out to be, but I had messed with most of them over the years. I put up my real sets though if you'd like to look?

I have never done any hard numbers so my opinions are based off pure experience and I have been proven wrong before so its all good all I really meant to say was when I did the numbers in my head and on paper having a 5hit with an Amano didn't seem practical compaired to the 6hit builds I compaired it too and what I would have to sacrafice, but honestly the amount of information out there on the subject has only been covered by a small group. It isn't practical, purely because a 20 sec aftermath will very likely fall off due to delays in pulls/etc. If you have a very good puller in a merit party (or 2 pullers), and are always engaged/autotargetting, the 5hit is very strong, and should outdo a "normal" build. But sure, a vast majority of the time, due to any number of things, you won't have your aftermath up that much, so just swapping between an aftermath build and a noaftermath build is more realistic. Do you do that, out of curiosity?

I indeed have different builds for varying accuracy, though I'm curious what the fuck you put on in Dynamis (Xarc/Tav excluded) outside of a Flame Ring for TP.
Oh, for the record, I play other jobs a lot still too, so let's go with my Dynamis set includes a Sorc Ring and Umbra Cape?
