I looked at 3 other apoc drks TP sets and his set fits right in. I won't mention their names (since this is not their fight), but all three have posted on BG (and their drks are well known). Their credentials aren't really in question. His set fits right in regarding haste, tp, str, dex, acc and att, not "epically" falling below each of them in every category and in fact matching up nicely.

Maybe you require perfection, idk, but most of his gear IS what apoc drks use and beyond upgrading (re: some slight improvements), theirs nothing "epically" wrong on his set. I can see upgrades.

Hyperbole, is inane when you are talking about 2 or 3 pieces that could be swapped for upgrades, but then on BG lately it appears that hyperbole is taken as useful discourse.

Tsuko's right. He has room to improve even just going off of gear he should already have. Ace's -> Walahra, Tor -> Blitz, Homam legs -> Black, Ares -> Ebody is

16 STR 17 accuracy 24 attack -> 14 STR 15 acc 10 DEX (7.5 more acc) 29 attack

Even if he's using Hauberk he's at least gaining accuracy, which is fairly important given that 88% acc figure that was thrown around earlier. Don't know if those are optimal non-Velo/Dusk+1 swaps, just what I got off the top of my head. Could swap Black Cuisses out for acc+7 legs too if needed.

EDIT: Also, I completely ignored the possibility that he has Ares's Flanchard.
