Ragnarok is like Claustrum- its sad when either of them are upgraded, but you can balance it out with the humor of an incredibly well-equipped player being the owner.

Well, feel free to read back to his comments about needing to be a mithra for Ragnarok to be good, because you have more dex and can get a better crit%. Little does he know that actually STR complements the aftermath the best, as the higher your critrate becomes, the less critrate becomes worth relative to other stats. Then again, if your only goal is crit% on the parse, gogo mithra.

Having friends help me on relic trial felt to me like asking them to help me on skilling guard. There's just some annoying shit I do not ask of friends. One buddy was crazy enough to offer his dual boxed brd for the last 250 or so I needed on slugs to which I replied: "Are you sure? This is boring as hell" yet he came anyway.

That's how I felt too. Had some friends come out now and then when they offered, but I felt bad for em. Though, teaming up with random people/JPs and hoping they understood enough to not steal my killshots was definitely good.
I also have a mule, but it was more effort than it was worth, and I preferred the slower rate that took less attention.

Rather than have people help me, I let them afk in my party and let them get credit for their normal trials while I went about my killshot marathon.

It just seems pretty obvious that all new content SE will release for this game will revolve around ToM, so if you hate it now, you'll reallllllly hate what's coming.

Yeah, really there was so much wrong with what he said that I feel the critical BG community was generally shocked into silence and decided to let it go under the radar. Then he started posting and it really seemed like he was a genuinely nice guy with hopes of being an awesome DD, so people were silenced again. I'll take a swing at it. Masenko, keep in mind that we do this with the hopes of making you the "DD that gets the most out of Ragnarok," not because we bear you personal grudges.



Apart from the Iota/Ulth comment:
* He also has no Turban in his inventory.
* His Rose Strap likely does nothing for his X-hit.
* He's wearing full Ares (I assumed for SS purposes initially, but now I realize it's WS gear from gorget and waist).
* I assume that earring is a Bushi, which is probably non-optimal for Scourge (Aesir or Fenrir's/Vampire).
* Fire Bomblet should be a Bomb Core during WS. Similarly, Cuchu should be Forager's.
* He hit for 0 on Khim with a D86-89 Relic. To some extent, lolbufferswhar, but he's 80 with a DD relic. If he didn't sacrifice logic for DEX and ate meat, he probably wouldn't do that.
* If you wouldn't go for a crit build with a normal great sword, you really shouldn't do it with Ragnarok. Furthermore, if you're hitting for 0 then Attack would increase both the damage of your normal hits and crits, so you should be using that.

Good luck with your relic. I hope it outparses the fire Great Axe when geared properly, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
