More or less, more or less. One does get to that point however -- where you have almost everything for a specific main job, so you tend to get every single (rare) item usable by the job.

I.E.: I'm almost like him on Blue Mage, lol.

Just looked up what the Convert augment actually does.. That's fucking retarded.

I feel like they had to go out of their way to make it useless, when they could have easily just made it a means to saving ~100+ MP by filling your HP halfway after a Convert.

How? Put Murg in the offhand, and you lose OA2, put Excal in the offhand and you lose additional effect.
