There's a pld on my server with NQ kaman and D ring/Haute, that made me sad. But Aegis is worse I think._.

The difference between HQ and NQ Kaman in terms of performance is less than 1% since MDB has diminishing returns, closer to 0.8%~ and even less in a proper magic defence build ... for 1m gil.

Normally I don't agree with the "sell stuff to get relic and rebuy later" philosophy but on something as inconsequential as a HQ Kaman for the price difference, I can perfectly understand it.

If your ass is a paladin main: You probably should have it.
If your ass has an aegis or hell a burtgang: You better have it.

Paladin is not a very gil intensive job to gear at endgame, so yes in one of the few spots you have to actually put gil into get the god damn HQ.

However, the guy did put quite a ton of gil into an Aegis, and is probably going to get the whitebox around the bow in like a few hours now that he achieved the relic.

To each their own, but the 400+ mil ive put into pld makes me think any job can be as expensive as you want it to be.

Most jobs have r/e equipment as the best for each spot tbh. Only real spots for any job that have better non r/e spots that cost extra gil are back/ranged/neck, and rings for those of w/o mars/divisor/dring.

A proper atonement build is just as expensive as any melee build for drk/war/sam. Add ares, kaiser, blood, relics, and the other neccesities and I think pld is definately one of the most expensive jobs to play to the fullest.

That's the trade off you make for having the most bad-ass looking job in the game. Even DRK looks like a sissy next to a well geared PLD.
