Okay, that's pretty awesome, and is potentially a nod to the fact that 1H weapons end up dual wielded all the time anyway.

It seems like they were trying to balance relic and emp ODD assuming emp ODD wouldn't be up full time. Unfortunately it seems like they forgot relics don't proc on extra attacks. Otherwise this would have leveled the playing field for a lot of relics. I'm not gonna complain too much though. IT'S BETTER THAN NOTHING!!

@Silentleroy what you wrote it's actually x3 damage from full sequence. Instead of 1600 you have 4800.

How? Normal crit for 800~ Set proc: 1600, ODD+set proc: 3200
800*4=3200, or 4x the damage.

I already said that I was wrong about single hit being quadruple. In your sentence I meant whole sequence of 2 hits. Instead of double attack for 2x 800 you got 3200+1600 so total damage from 2 punches is x3.

I'm 100% sure Mandau damage doesn't proc on additional attacks. I also tested the relic proc rate multiple times in the past and came up with 5% dunno where 8% is coming from.

This. Source for 1-handers procing at 8% pre 95? I've never seen this backed up w data.

5% > 12~13% seems a reasonable jump given the OTD nature of these.

Other things: Relic procs and set bonus do stack. On THF when they do proc together the bonus is huge. I have SSs of ~3.5k (9x damage) non SATA crits in abyssea but I don't think I can post them. I also have some SSs of DRG doing 4x damage with Rhongo ODD + Set bonus.

Nope I meant Spharai was 8% for one fist always resulting in 4% of total attacks. Now its 10% on one fist resulting in 5% of all attacks.
Mandau got boosted from 8% to 10% it seems and looks like it depends on damage multiplier by how much you got boosted.

hypothesis for now is:
Mandau, Spharai, Kikoku, Mjollnir got boosted from 8% to 10%
Excalibur, Ragnarok, Guttler, Amanomurakumo, Gungnir from 8% to 15%
Bravura, Apocalypse from 8% to 20%
Annihilator, Yoichinoyumi in theory should go from 8% to 10% too but SE always like to be unique with ranged attacks.

So basically SE poked 1H in the eye to show how much they love 2H over 1H yet again.

I think it's fair them having different proc rates. If they all were 3x damage then I agree they should have had the same proc rate but it was never fair that some relics got 3x, some 2.5x and some only 2x. Like what was fair about Gungnir or Amano having 2.5x damage but Apoc and Brav having 2x damage, Gungnir even has higher base damage than Brav.

I do agree Spharai not proccing on the second fist is balls though.
