This is what I think every time I look at a Tredicim Scythe. Perfectly acceptable as far as scythes go, but it just looks so dinky, like you'd break it if you walked through a doorway and forgot it was strapped to your back.

To each their own, but the 400+ mil ive put into pld makes me think any job can be as expensive as you want it to be.

Most jobs have r/e equipment as the best for each spot tbh. Only real spots for any job that have better non r/e spots that cost extra gil are back/ranged/neck, and rings for those of w/o mars/divisor/dring.

A proper atonement build is just as expensive as any melee build for drk/war/sam. Add ares, kaiser, blood, relics, and the other neccesities and I think pld is definately one of the most expensive jobs to play to the fullest.

If you want to go completely all out my friend you forget that Kaiser/Blood is far cheaper then other hq abj not too mention the fact if you go completely anal on any job your well over 400+. When you throw in the Salvage bodies are mute points because in an anal job build they all have them, Hq abjs body for War/Drk/Bst far outprices the rest, relics/mythics etc. Then again I don't pay for salvage pieces/cursed gear/ and some hqs.

I'd take an Aegis over an HQ Kaman anyday. I'm sure he will probably get one once those 30 100's sell. Who gives a shit about a NQ Kaman, really? There is a big difference between gimping yourself and not having an HQ that is almost irrelevant.

Yes, MDB isnt counted in the -% magic damage cap, hence why it is so important for Aegis plds, since Aegis plds get no use out of plain -% magic damage pieces (with shell).

Maybe he bought his R/E gear, that's about the only feasible explanation that would make sense. Otherwise with the exception of Aegis and Bow you can almost do everything else for free and make a great paladin.

Well, he got his a while back when prices were high and he's said that at least 90% of his bronze he bought at market value, so it was at least 150M.

I wasn't talking for him, just what I'd have if I had 400M, Aegis in there as well, and Bravura if anything left, then work on Excal, then Burt, then Conq assuming limitless funds.

Aegis took about 2.5-3 years for me, so I bought alot of my currency back when O.pieces were 20-30k+ for the norm, then finished up the last bit when they dropped back down to 10-12k. Ended up being a bit over 300mil that I spent over the time to finish it.

Add about 20mil for 10k alex ive got at ~2k each.

As for other items: 12 mil ares body, ~15mil on kaizer pieces, ~4mil on blood pieces, and various other common pieces like kaman+1, and normal resist builds/etc.

Shit adds up.

The only thing a melee job has that can be more expensive than a pimped pld is HQ heca, which is generally a good deal more expensive than the kaizer/blood counterparts.
