pretty much this, i know 5 people currently doing mythic's all have 300mil+ they have all said the assaults are the hardest to redo even tho they all know each other they spend there tags on neo Ny and never get around to getting there 50 assaults clears :/

The shared entry key items is what makes mythics annoying as fuck. If they required 1 alexandrite they'd still be a pain in the ass.

It's not just needing gil, you still have to look pretty hard to find enough alex. Especially since Nyzul is dying down again.

Offering a high enough price will fix your supply problem though, but you will end up paying a lot more.

I didn't really have a problem with finding Alexandrite this time around. There were a few players that would have bulk amounts in their bazaar every week or so at about 1k over the going price (or sometimes at the going price).

I will say that both this time and last, Nyzul tokens were the thing that I finished last. Assault permit restriction is really frustrating. However, I had a huge head start on Ampuoles since I started Einherjar a long time ago, and was already at 80k when I decided to start my first Mythic and above 50k again just as a result of spamming Odin for various drops/friends drops before I even thought to start Ryu.

You need 4 months to redo assaults and some are not first win. The rankup quest are annoyingly longs too. Afterglow is easily easier than a mythic just for this. At least I could "spam" adl, dynamis once a day keeps you busy a lot. Personnally I had 150k ichor from the old einherjar day, but the fact that salvage is coming soon, and that I'm not done with nyzlulz, and that most of the mythic suck doesn't really incite me. I counted that you need only 36 marrows to buy the 30k alex. At the speed at which I gathered marrows, it should take around 2 weeks. Then one transfer, 2-3 marrows per mule, and that's 2k alex per mule which will take maybe 1 week to gather (and selling marrows). However rejoice because SE said a few months ago on the OF that they were waiting for salvage to be done before ajusting alex, so maybe we'll see mythic ajustements. Id oubt they will ever fix mythic as weapons, because after doing most of them in the math section, it's pretty clear that they designed them to do about the same damage (even pup is about the DPS of ryunohige, just slightly less, even glanzafaust,conqueror and liberator have an equivalent dps to ryunohige when AM3 is up). If they ever fix DRG or PUP the weapon becomes unbalanced obviously.

The Ichor, Tokens, and Assaults I haven't found difficult as those are just a matter of time more then anything.

Alexandrite on Asura has been one of the more interesting trials on any wepaon I've as I seem to spent most of my time stalking and watching FFXIAH for Alexandrite trying to avoid spending more then 18k on a server that ranges between 15k to as much as 30k and having about 3-5 minutes to find people when they appear on AH website before they're swiped up when below 19k. Though this is mostly self-inflicted since I'm a bit of a cheapskate but I strangely enough take a weird enjoyment in hunting the stuff down.

Or maybe I've just gone crazy from the process, it's hard to tell at this point.
