Even if mythic drg is subpar as far as high end DD it still going to outperform most of your shout VW DDs lol

Are those numbers accurate? I remember seeing some posts where people criticized pchan's gear choices for other jobs.

It would be interesting if they were; everyone gets googley-eyed when they see a Ryunohige, but I haven't seen a lot of the great katanas around.

Afaik its because mythic gkt doesnt exactly open doors for sam, its not that its not shiny, it just doesnt really change the jobs output compared to a TPBonus, masa, amano sam, whereas a ryu DRG compared to all other drgs shits all over them, not to mention becomes a significant parser.

Even if Pchan's numbers were accurate(they're historically wrong), nobody ogles Ryunohige because it makes DRG better than WAR. Ryunohige is neat because it takes a completely non-competitive DD and brings them up to par.

the DPS of a full perle ryunohige DRG not using jumps is 220, and the DPS of a MNK in perfect gear with fulltime impetus is 550. you can't explain that. foolsproof logical assessment that has no holes.

I recognize that, but there does seem to be a general misunderstanding of how good it is. A few people I know are working on Ryunohige. They've never played DRG before, but there seems to be an allure to the weapon. If it makes the job competitive, but not the best, I'd understand why career DRGs would want it, but I don't understand why a random other person would. Maybe everyone secretly loves DRG.

Koga shits on all other GK by a significant amount unless you need the non elemental ws dmg from the pulse GK..

I just find it dumb it's purely because of the Aftermath and not the "special stat" that's on it (Enhances Third Eye). It just emphasize how little SE understands their game, because Kogarasumaru being an amazing weapon, when you consider that, was actually completely by accident.

Ryunohige's one of the only times they actually succeeded in creating great synergy in stats for a weapon.

I was just sharing what I felt was a humorous encounter, not attempting to demonstrate that I should be treated as some holier than thou paramount example of the perfect dps setup.

Koga shits all over in normal situations, but when you are super mega buffed others catch up.
I don't even know what enhanced third eye V even does hehe.
But yeah it's just qilin, don't get buthurt lol. Peeps turn down my koga sam for uptala all the time.

It's the other way around, koga only wins to a normal DD by ~10% when buffs are super high. Considering you can never afford to get AM3 without losing DPS, including from intial WS, it's about as subpar as other mythics.

You either play with the worst drg's to ever wield a mythic or you run a distubingly good meth lab from your home and are clearly intoxicated off noxious vapors. Because Ryu drg's are anyhthing but subpar vs other dd's.
