That parse is pretty meaningless with the information that was omitted. I'd also say buffs must have been bad because those WS averages were godawful for most. I've never had a problem averaging 3-4k against Morta with Ragna.

Apoc does seem to be underrated nowadays even by people in my LS which makes me facepalm so much. It's a very good weapon still, its strength just doesn't lie in raw damage output which seems to be the only deciding factor for a lot of people nowadays. For raw damage it will get beat by a myriad of weapons/jobs if utilised by a player of the same skill/gear quality. If I could only have 1 Relic/Empy weapon though it would be Apoc every day of the week. It's not like Apoc is 50% behind other weapons, we're talking like 10-15% ish behind Ragna (with high buffs generally favouring Rag) on paper which is a fair trade off when its strengths are applicable.

Depends on the content. If you were swinging continuosly at a mob, I never lost to a SAM or WAR. It was only if you were against mobs that had stupid DEF and/or stop start fighting that I lost to SAM. For merits or Einherjar or HNMs you hit fulltime then I always beat the WAR's and SAM's. Plus I DD tanked better than them too. The difference between Amano, Bravura and Apoc wasn't massive even if Apoc was 3rd damage wise (it wasn't in my experience but could have been lack of competition since a lot of relic holders were terrible at 75)

DD's had slightly different functionality at 75 though; Apoc was extremely good damage wise but that wasn't its main appeal.

Apoc's benefits were a lot more advantageous then (and DRK had no alternative). DRK without Apoc was awful back then unlike WAR and SAM. Not unuseable but you didn't stand a chance against SAM or WAR without Apoc.
