I didn't really have that problem in abyssea, just tone down your atmas favour of regain/stp. Was pulling 200~ kills an hour on some of them, never below 180.

On the topic of Carn, is rime or exen stronger at 119.

I guess it depends on the target? There were some tests pulled off in the "Evisceration vs Exenterator" thread a bit below on first or second page of BG.
5/5 Exen should be better, with 4/5 being more or less the same, let's say 3/5 if we want to be safe.
With the 30% damage bonus I think it should be better than 5/5 Exen.

I'll have to do some testing I guess. I always just use Mordant Rime just 'cuz. It does nice damage, though. I'm not optimally geared for it, so I've mostly just been doing MR in my TP gear, but I regularly get 3-3.5K on crap mobs in Ceizak.

Well math wise it shows they shouldn't be too far off now anyways. Obviously 5/5 ruinator still wins but the gap is closing. Well assuming you aren't benefitting too much from the att bonus on ruinator. So might be worthwhile sometimes... shame relic aftermaths are so short 10% att aint shabby

And I don't have a Kere . Wish I did. It still has 11 more base dmg than my guttler. And a hell of alot more than whatever I offhand lol

I didn't look at math, I posted out of "prejudice". Ruinator is so insanely broken that even with the relic boost I didn't imagine Onslaught to get even remotely close to it. I guess I hyperbolized things a bit and underestimated Onslaught D: (and yeah the aftermath is ossom, too bad it doesn't last long enough )

As for Kere I'm a bit surprised. o.O How come a competent, kind and awesome player such as you doesn't have one? Your old LS died or something? Even then you could have probably spent the gil you spent on 119ing your Guttler to buy a Bee win (altough I suppose maybe you went the Guttler way for completitionism and for "affection" reasons)
