Good points. I guess I'm being overly optimistic. <,<
Still, nothing to do but wait for testing.

Yes but as Dotsudoku said, it's all relative and depends on what you were fighting, which buffs you have, etc etc.
Resolution could range from over 4k easily (I mean, I was doing ~3k on Kumhau solo with an ilevel 115 Gsword!) to utterly crappy damage on stuff with very high def etc. So that "better than 5/5 Reso" doesn't tell a lot.
I am skeptic (altough I can't rule it out) that such a 2hit WS can be better than Resolution in the situations where it shines, but I can see it being equal/better for those situations where Resolution would suck.
A 2hit ws can be better than reso on situation it shines, AM3 favor 2 hit ws the most and it's dumb OP ! But yeah I agree that really tell us nothing and need to wait update to do testing and such
Sorry I wasn't able to provide any more information. I just posted what I was told by the JP RUN. I did ask him if he wanted any assistance with testing but he turned the offer down.
Don't think anyone's complaining about what you were/weren't able to provide for us. Any info is appreciated
I forgot to take the customary screenshot during obtaining cs... this'll do. Obtained May 29th, 119'd today.
Thanks to everyone who sold me cheap alexandrite!
Aside from Atonement, non-physical WS usually include their damage type in the description. It's probably physical.
As for the damage- Lets say you're someone who just got a new thing and wanted to go out and try it. Are you going to go use it on a Delve boss, or are you going to go outside town and fuck around with it on Mandragora? I'm pretty confident that he did the latter.
I don't know why sometimes people misunderstand my intentions so much
I totally didn't want to criticize the JP guy who got the weapon or Yeager's intentions.
I just wanted to get everybody's feet on the ground saying that it was a bit early to rejoice given the small (but apreciated!) information Yager gave us, 'cause it was very likely affected by bias and limited testing.
I don't get why I sounded so dour and grumpy =/
Uhm... well it's SE we're talking about so never say never, but honestly it doesn't sound very "logic" to me.
I mean, let's step back: why did they even put those bonus multipliers back then? Because most of those WS sucked and they were attempting to get them back on par with what was the best at the time: Empy WS or other WS.
They could have adjusted the modifiers, but clearly for mythic ones it wouldn't have been a good solution (can use them on other weapons as well) and appearently they wanted to do things similarly for both Relic and Mythic (different % number, but identical solution)
They created this WS from zero, Empy >> anything else is no longer a problem nowadays, so why would they need to give a hidden bonus modifier to the WS only for the Ergon Weapon? Not like they need to make it even more interesting than it already is to attract more people or to make it more "even" with other RME options (there are no other options lol)
Furthermore, they are going through the process of fixing WSs to enlarge as much as possible the options players have in their hands in terms of "good and viable WSs". If this is their goal, would it make sense to create a new GSWD WS and make it so it's good just for people with Epeolatry?
For all of these reasons, it doesn't seem much logic to me that they'd give it a hidden bonus modifier to the 2 new Geo and Run WSs, but hey, there might be more to this than what I've considered so far.
Our Bahamut "Buy all HP bayld" Guy is at 6300/9999 atm. Maybe Malo can get some better info out of him when he's done.
Not exactly per the topic, but close enough.
Has anyone tested the MAB Aftermath effect of 99/119 mythics? BGwiki only lists up to lvl 95, and ffxiwiki lists nothing. Curious for Geo theorycrafting, even though it's entirely possible that it's effect may differ.
Can try, but he's not exactly the most communicative JP I've come across lol. He seems to be slowing down some, he was at 5900 like 4 or 5 days ago.
MAB Aftermath gives 30-50 MAB for level 95-119 mythics: https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Mythic_Af...rmath_.2895.29
"Carries through to the 99" derp. Thanks much Byrth.
A big thank you to everyone in TribalEtiquette and everyone who helped me get to this point so quickly. I simply could not have done this on my own. Now to start those horrible weapon skill trials...
And sorry for the weird resolution. I'm playing on my laptop and it's got a weirdly sized screen.
Spoiler: show
Congrats Tarage!!
Long overdue; Glanz up next
