    There should be a program to extract songs from it on another comp I think, I asked for help in tech, someone answered

    Edit: and prolly even manage songs that way I think?

    I don't need my songs extracted, though that is super gay. It's not letting me add songs on this PC to my ipod. I have to move 1 gb of music to my laptop (which doesnt have that much free space left) just to put it on my ipod. Thanks assholes. Apple fucking sucks a big one.

    Still waiting for a way to add music to my iPhone...

    It's fucking stupid how I can SSH into the fucking thing but can't add music with anything other than iTunes (which I DON'T want, and won't install under Vista 64bit).

    You can use an iPod between two computers, iirc. You have to authorize the computer to use your iTunes account. Apple only lets you authorize up to five and they only let you deauthorize all once a year. There's also a way to use your iPod as a portable drive and store files (including media) on it that you want to transfer. It's all part of their DRM shit that they got into when they signed all of these labels. It is a bunch of shit.

    There are programs out there that will help you do all this much easier.
