Comprehensive iPhone Apps/Jailbreak Thread

Here's my home screen, although I change wallpapers almost daily. Love the delnoch themes, I hate homepage clutter. Anyone know any good programs/guides to do a 7 day forecast on the lock screen? I think Maguspk or someone posted a picture of one somewhere earlier in the thread.

How did you change your buttons (blank apps) to make them what you wanted? Most of his themes come one way, your buttons are different.

edit:: NEVERMIND I found it, it just took more googling of different terms, trial, and error. Might give this a go, none of his other themes have the exact buttons I want except for this one. Too bad I can't download it from his sendspace.com link cause idk username/pw.

Go to Cydia and browse around under the winterboard themes? Although a step-by-step to some of those particular configurations might be nice... my other iphone (the jailbroken one) is still using an old OS version. I might restore it, upgrade, then rejailbreak and try out a new theme.

Installed the iBlack theme. I like not having to wait for categories to load and just having 5 sectioned pages to jump from. So much smoother. I replaced the standard rss with the ESPN rss though. I installed Reeco's version, but until he releases some additional wallpapers, it's largely useless to me. I couldn't care less about a facebook RSS and I'm too lazy to make an ESPN RSS wallpaper. Anyway, here's what it looks like.

Is the springjump that much faster than catagories? If so I will have to get on that.

really not much more of a pain in the ass to setup than Catagories. And 4000 times faster, and doesn't eat up a fuck ton of memory like catagories.

Guess this would be the best place to post this. I haven't jailbroken my new iphone and I jailbroke my old 2g iphone a long time ago. I was wondering what the best program is out there now to do it? I've seen ipwn, blackrain, redrain and some other ones. Which one is the best? Thanks!

Click the gigantic link in OP of thread. That's all you'll need. They all do the same things, just slightly differently, and every big patch a new way to do it comes out. This is the most popular and easiest.

So i've jailbroken my iphone and installed everything needed on it for the iBlack night theme but cannot find where the weather/rss dir is.

The dir that was in the setup was /Library/themes/modmyi.theme/Private/WeatherWidget/private/ but every time I go to Library and then Themes it takes me to the Themes dir but there's no modmyi.theme in there.

Anyone know what the problem is? D:

Also, why doesn't any 3rd party app that i've installed on my phone threw the iStore work? I try to open it and it closes right away. Thanks

The RSS widget is an HTML file.

go to:/Library/Themes/modmyi.theme/widget.html and open it with for example "Editor" for windows. You´ll find a line like ...cssfeed.addFeed("CNN Top Stories", "http:..bla bla bla". Change only this marked text to a rss feed of your choice, save it and copy the widget.html back to my theme.

As far as your apps shutting down, you have to download a program off cydia that allows your phone to allow cracked apps. Forgot the name though.

The program is called appsync. You have to add the repo for it into Cydia. Due to apple having some issues with it, I'm not gonna post the repo for you here, but a google search will let you find it.

Any idea if it's as good as ffxigear.com was? I really wouldn't mind paying $2 to get back my ffxigear...if it has an export ability. Which I don't see in the description, but maybe exist?

need some major help here, updated iblacklist on my iphone 3gs, afterwards it rebooted and would freeze at the lock screen...

i need to restore it to 3.0 and rejailbreak.. however i have my phone in recovery mode and itunes will not allow me to restore it to 3.0 saying ":the iphone could not be restored. the device isn't eligible for the requested build."

tried editing host file, no go still same problem... anyone able to help... asap please
