It seems that that's your only option at this point isn't it? Have you tried to restore custom FW?

I don't know, never had to do it. I'm on ATT . It seems that upgrading to 3.1.xx and jailbreaking and unlocking the new baseband would be the easiest way. You can't downgrade once you upgrade though, so if for some reason it doesn't work, you're fucked until a solution is found. Check some other forums and make sure noone has had any problems with the new blacksn0w unlocking the new baseband.

Ive used blackrain to jailbreak my 3.1.2, but I've never had to unlock using blacksn0w

For the last several months, anyone who had updated to iPhone OS 3.1 or greater without following a pre-update procedure lost the unlock on their iPhones due to new software in the modem firmware or the baseband. Using the at+xemn crash as an injection point, iPhone hacker Geohot (of the original hardware unlock) was able to unlock the latest firmware on any iPhone.

What does this mean? The iPhone can be unlocked for any GSM carrier, allowing you to use it on more than your country's authorized carrier or other carriers as you're traveling abroad.

Geohot suggests that you update to a fresh copy of iPhone OS 3.1.2 directly from Apple before performing his unlock. He has all the instructions available on his site.

I would think that you're good to go.

They normally have some good things, pretty much all Delnoch themes and Delnoch inspired. Just gets heavy on the blank icons and catagories for me.

If I ever get a 3GS and it can handle catagories without turning my springboard into a slow fucking crawl then I might go back to a smooth Delnoch theme. Hands down they are the best looking themes out there, but just a pain to setup and then slow as hell to run.

I just tried it myself, works perfect. No need at all to keep SSH on, don't need to be on wifi or use an iphone tunnel suite. It's wonderful.
