Blank Null won't create an icon as it doesn't actually do anything for you to change. It just makes the blank icons created by iblank do nothing. (Before Blank Null, the blanks would try to open Safari to....nothing)

Blank Icons should have created an icon on your spring board. the icon is a black box.

As for springjumps, you want to move all those springjump folders into the Applications folders. So you'll be adding probably around 16-20 folders to Applications.

Ok, well I can do that with all the spring jumps. iBlank never created an icon on my springboard though. I was reading some reviews of it on ROCK and none of them came out and directly said the problem, but I think it might be because I havent updated past 3.0 yet. I dont want to lose all my stuff I dl'ed after jailbreak to update so I never did.

Also, if I have an iphone (I have two actually, the older one lost service when I activated the new one, but is still usable as a glorified ipod touch) and my contract with ATT is up, can I simply ask ATT to unlock it so I can switch to T-Mobile? Or should I unlock it myself?

I'm considering switching to T-Mobile, they seem a lot cheaper than AT&T, about half the price of AT&T for voice + unlimited web & texts and no special "extra" data plans just for iphone, unlike AT&T's $30 iphone data plan with no texts by default (extra $5/month for 200 texts up to $20/month for unlimited texts), on top of the voice plan.

As of right now, no. AT&T currently has a contract with Apple that makes them the exclusive provider of the phone and service. Until that contract is ended (which most rumors state that it will end at the end of the year) they won't unlock it for you, even if paid in full. Now, if rumors are correct and verizon does gain access rights also, they will have to allow unlocking so Verizon can work also. (Something that has been done in Europe)

I just bought a 3gs yesterday and i'm completely oblivious. Are there still Emulators for Gameboy / SNES? I noticed on the first page someone asked about emulators for the 3g. Are there newer/better ways to run it on the 3gs, and how efficient should I expect gameplay to be? I mostly just want to play Pokemon crystal and some early SNES rpgs

I had the same problem. I ended up rebooting the phone now a couple of times and deleted some apps and freed up some memory.

you'll have to jailbreak the phone to get emulators. and from my experience they play ok the only problem I was having is sometimes the music is choppy.

Decided to say "fuck it, I'll take the slow catagories" and go back to a split Delnoch.

Trying to find a icon set I like though as the stock icons look so blah on a awesome Delnoch theme. Oh, and the new Katra Weather V3. It isn't as functional as WedaPanel, but is by far the most awesome looking Weather Lockscreen out there.

I just bought a 32GB Iphone today and I was just wondering how you change the background with the icons. How did you do that without Jailbreaking it?

Also I'm debating on Navigon's Mobile Navigator. Its really expensive for an app but everyone I know who has it swears by it. Are there any cheaper alternatives without sacrificing quality?

You can't do the above without jailbreaking it. I have, and have used extensively, the Navigon app. It's amazing, but I wasn't about to pay $80 or whatever for it.

Probably cause you're in canada. iirc it works only in the US.

Sorry can't help here I haven't used the Emulators in about a year. all the places where I got them seem to be taken down.

Yeah nothing looks/seems legit nowadays so I'm far too reluctant to trust any without a few confirmations

I cant really search too much, I'm on the road and posting this from my iPhone actually.

I'm about to upgrade to the 3GS.. I was told that after nov. of this year they implemented a new bootrom so that if you jailbreak with blackrain then you have to tether it to your PC in order to turn it on each time. Is this true or has blackrain found an exploit for this already? I'm aware that pwnage can do it to where you dont have to connect it to a PC each time but I'm not interested in unlocking it, just jailbreaking and from past experience the jailbreaking with blackrain is much easier.

any information would be greatly appreciated. Also are all phones going out now the new ones with the different bootrom? Im from a country ass town so I'm not sure if my stores will even have the new ones. I guess its just hope to get an older one and not have to worry about tethering each time I want to boot it.

I'm posting here since it's an iPhone problem and it's also related to apps. So the problem i'm having is that everytime I try to open a 3rd party app that i've downloaded it cloeses right away. It started when I jailbroke it before and I just decided to restore the phone to get rid of the jailbrake and use my apps again... Well it didn't work and the apps still don't open even after restoring the phone 3 times.

Is there anyway to fix this problem or an I fucked? I don't mind jailbreaking my phone again if it fixes this problem since the apple guy said there isn't a fix for it yet.
