Is that new jailbreak method a tethered jb for the 3GS new bootrom/4G? If it isn't tethered, then i should just restore my phone and jb it again. Lol

Kind of like what Kareface said...I just got an iPod 32gb for christmas and had only ever wanted one for my car because I'm tired of burning mp3s to cds. Now that I have can run apps I guess I have a variety of things to do when I'm pooping at work. Does anybody have a "you should totally do these things first" (aside from installing iTunes, durr) list? Also, I don't know shit about what apps are worth it in the long run, and the only app that I've ever thought "That makes me want an iPhone/pod/pad" was that FFXIgear.com-esque app and I don't play any more, so does anybody know if there is a similar one for FFXIV? Or some other list of must-have apps?

Don't update to the latest OS without checking up on jailbreak status and all that. Just do a google search and you'll get a list of the must-have apps. There's just too many to list and it all depends on what your needs are.

Ok, so the year is almost over. Anybody want to post their favorite mods/themes/theme addons, for jailbroken iPhone?

I recently purchased Gridlock, 3G Unrestrictor, and iFile as they are all very useful and will help me manage any themes I grab off Cydia

Unfortunately I haven't really been able to find a badass theme yet for my phone (iphone 4, running 4.1), I tried Elite Pro HD, 1derful HD, Afterhours HD, along with some HTC themes with the clock widget (which sometimes stops displaying the proper weather information)

Just upgrades my iPhone to 4.2. Now when I'm in the SMS/MMS app it will make that Tri-tone noise everytime I get a text instead of that "Woosh" noise it usually makes. Anyone else?

Maybe it's because i have 4.2.1, but that theme looks like complete ass on my iphone, all the dock icons make it look like absolute shit and all. Am i doing something wrong?

It should look like ass if you're on anything without retina.

I'm really debating about going HTC Sense style..it kind of feels weird doing it with iOS.

I still prefer my simple nexus live paper with a custom lock screen. D:

I've been playing around with the ipad the last week or so. Can I say, from a PC users perspective the whole image sorting BS makes me want to take the ipad back. I know how to get around the problem, it just makes me sad that I'm giving money to apple when it's clear they are such huge dicks at times.

And turn on your No Docked Icons Label in Winterboard Will look much cleaner.
