about 2/3's as fast. My Thunderbolt with LTE gets 21Mbps down and about 15Mbps up.

It's not as fast as true HSPA+ either, some of those lines get up to 42 down.
And obviously to verizon customers it's a wash since they'll only get 3G speeds, unless they have HSPA+ and I didn't know about it
