Also, the prices above are likely prices without contracts? $200 is the 2 year commitment price, that should have been obvious.

Yes. Those prices are no contract and early upgrade, both of which would extend my contract anyways. So it pisses me off if I wanted one I'd get relocked into a 2 year contract but not get shit for a discount.

I can't even begin to fathom why you would let her upgrade to the 4 a week ago. Almost everyone knew that the new one was coming.

My GF screwed me. Was supposed to take her fifth line when my Verizon contract was up in November because I was sick of paying $90/month. But she impulsively bought an iPhone 4 last month because she was tired of her 3GS, but instead added a fifth line to get the full upgrade, which was the line I was going to take. So now I can only take her extra line, which only has a partial discount on it.

We tried to psych it out with a bunch of random requests, including the history of Chester, Vermont (a lovely town) and the best Ramen places in San Francisco. Siri never faltered, never missed a beat. It worked as well as Scott's demo up on the stage. There's nothing better to say than that. We even sent ourselves a few text messages, which Siri transcribed to a T. Of course, the lady on the other end still sounds eerily robotic, but we're hoping for smoother responses from the alien within in a future update.

Siri sounds fucking absurd. I want it.

I don't believe any rumor especially when it comes to Apple products. Could return it (since it was 13 days ago when we bought it) pay $35 restock fee and wait.

Apple has said that they won't roll out LTE until it's available in a much wider market.
