Does this app have some kind of system that prevents it from being pirated?
I keep trying to download it through Installous (because I'm cheap as hell) but it is never able to connect to any forums.

tl;dr version: Can't do LTE voice + data on one chip, so battery would have to shrink or phone would have to grow to accommodate new hardware.

And even if they did, it would have shit LTE battery life just like everyone else.

Depends. Are you on iOS or Android? I know the android version works pirated

I had the ios version pirated and it worked fine, but lack of updates pretty much made me end up buying it. I support it because it is such a good app anyways. I dono if the latest pirated version actually has security measures now.

That notification bar has been available on iphones for awhile through cydia (jailbroken). Apple seen it, liked it, hired the guy that made it, then stuck it in iOS 5.

Well, my brother is going to be pretty pissed. He was holding out hope that Siri could be brought to the iPhone 4 through the Jailbreak community. Looks like that has been shot down.

I was going to hold off and try to hang onto my 4 until next year, but now that I think about it I may as well go ahead and take the jump for 4S.

What about you Tyche, are you going to go for the 4S or keep your 4 for a year longer?

If they had released this back in june or july, I may have went with it, but at this point, I'd rather just wait because doing it now will knock back the upgrade time significantly. I'm just going to hold out and keep the 4. I still have hopes for a Siri port, so we'll see. It's still early. If not, oh well. I'd imagine the 5 (6? since it'll be 6th gen) will be a complete redesign and possibly roll out the new A6 which is due to hit Q2 of '12.

Apparently some people who are expiring in November are calling AT&T and getting bumped up to October 7th. Over on Macrumors they said it's kinda hit or miss. Just keep calling back until you find a rep willing to switch you to the earlier date for being a iPhone 4 launch adopter. Worth a shot if you really want the 4S.

Idk if that was to me or just in general but I dont have an iPhone 4. I've got an og Droid on Verizon and looking to switch to at&t on my gfs plan to save me $40 a month or so. Im hoping I can take her old lines upgrade if its available since she added a new line to get the iPhone 4 last month and took that upgrade

Is the Nexus Prime coming to AT&T? If you like android, I'd go with that. If the mock ups I've seen are legit, it looks fucking dope, although I'd think it would be uncomfortable as hell in your pocket. It's 720 and should have retina density. That would be the phone I'd buy if I were wanting to get one before xmas.

The rectangle with curved edges has existed for awhile on Samsung phones and they used it themselves and got sued. Even the 4x4 App drawer.

Well, they all ripped it off from the Palm Pre notification system (which was brilliant) so they all a bunch of cheats, lol.
