I would use the iTunes library just to back up your shit before you jailbreak. But you don't really need one(I don't think.) Just click the program and done.

in case anybody who has AT&T didn't know. they now have a 5GB (+Tethering) plan for $50. I went ahead and bit the bullet since they screwed me out of my unlimited data plan. I initially was gonna just go to Verizon in April but I don't think they have a plan that's 5GB, you could do the whole "Pay $10 for each additional GB over 2GB" or whatever, but I think if you did that it'd go over $50 by the time you hit 5GB

I didn't need a CFW for my iPad 2 or 4(non-S), is that something specific with the 3GS?

Redsn0w should work just fine I would think. Old bootrom has been exploitable for ages. Only reason you should have ever needed a CFW is if you are unlocking and need to make sure the baseband isn't updated.

Or if iTunes recognizes you're on a JB device and isn't letting you update to the newest iOS (had this problem a few times)

its been f/e and i forgot some apps that i used to use. which is the one w/ all the custom icons and stuff that can show up on the status bar? It's a paid app. Oh yeah, whats the one that lets you customize all the hidden options such as icon size, ect? (pretty sure its also a paid app)

Shrink is the one that lets you change icon sizes, I bought that one on Cydia about a year ago

SBSettings is the other one I think you want..

I prefer Springtomize for all of my icon customizing.

Icon Size, Opacity, Number per line, lots of good customization options.

Yeah it was Springtomize and OpenNotifier. Stupid that i had to rebuy springtomize because they had to revamp it and everything at least OpenNotifier and My3g were still free to update to

Is there anyway to automatically assemble sliced images extracted from iPhone apps?

For example I extracted an ipa (just renamed to zip, then extracted) and found the images in slices with labels such as:

<image name>_x1y1, <image name>_x1y2, etc for example. Is it possible to reassemble the images automatically (with some program or something) somehow?

iPhone 4S is my first iPhone (had an iPod touch, but no phone) as I have sprint so this is my first jailbreak... looking at the above 2 posts, looks like I have a lot more to look into! Just need to find a forum or something to read more about it.
