What if you're getting an LM-21 "Account closed, please confirm payment, blahblahblah", then when you try to connect you get an Error 1040, cannot connect, blah blah blah?
Why can't I confirm my info from the computer and make it go through, instead of dealing with my PS2 shitting it's brains out from trying to reconnect on an active connection?
I've been trying to reactivate my info since yesterday.
Most of the time I wait 30mins in between failed debit card updates like advised by the CSR and other members; however, every now and then I will get an error saying that my debit card cannot be used and that I should use another card.
I've been using this card for 4 months now, and it has around 500 USD on it. I was short several dollars on this month and just went to bank yesterday to make a deposit. The deposit didn't go through until around 3am this morning.
1.) My debit card has funds. Been using since I moved out on my own.
2.) All my info is typed correctly. I am using a letter from the bank to assure my address is correct.
3.) Like someone mentioned above SE charged one dollar to my account for some shit.
I can't reactivate my content ids if SE isn't accepting my payment method. I highly doubt it's on the banks end either.
What the hell is going on? I have had the last two days and have tomorrow off from work. Talk about being robbed of my FFXI time...
Are you able to log in to reactivate at all?
I get the prompt to log in and reactivate, then it just sits there idling while trying to connect and eventually spits out a "could not connect to server." Error 1040.
Blah, I can't figure out why it isn't letting me actually log in.
I think they deactivated my POL account, yet expect me to use it to update my payment info.
PIME TARADOX!
You only update/register a single CC once per day. If you're using the same CC to update 2 accounts it will only work with one and then it will give you an error until the next day.
Figured out it was a PS2 thing screwing me over.
Asking a PS2 to connect when it just connected makes it sit there and say "Ok, I'm hooked up... what you want?" So I had to get to the second connect screen, unhook the modem, restart it, then say ok.
