    Isn't the registration server maintenance going on? Maybe that's why you cannot connect.

    Edit: FINALLY!

    I tricked the modem, let it get to the "reconnect?" screen, unhooked the modem so the PS2 didn't crap itself trying to handle two connections, let it reset itself, and then went on.

    I'll have to remember that.
