I would be very surprised if it even took an hour. I'd be willing to bet that if that missile was coming our way, North Korea would be a wasteland before it even got close enough for our countermeasures to take it out.

It's going to be interesting to see how this will turn out since Japan vowed to shoot down any missiles/flying object the North Korean launches that comes into its territory. North Korea has responded saying that any action by Japan that sabotaging the test will be interpreted as a declaration of war. Japan then called for a UN council meeting for a better resolution. I don't know how I feel if we end up having another war because of this.

Most likely they'd petition China to aid them, though I doubt they'd actually receive any help.

I'm hoping that if they do launch the missile that Japan lets the missile pass by so it gives the U.S a reason to take it out. Then lets see North Korea declare war on the states. They'd have all their military installations gone within minutes.
