Ask your original question here. Use Gorgets for WS. Dont use Spike or Fail Necklace. If you have Torque, use that.

what they are saying in the thread definitely has some merit to it. The biggest concern they are displaying is that when stacking SA with their WS do they get more damage out of using the gorget vs if they used something like Love torque since the Dex from this will also modify the damage calculations.

It comes down to is basically: is 10% dmg (on the first hit) and 10 acc for all hits (gorget) = or > or < 5dex + 7attk +8-9 acc (Love Torque)

Now, to be honest I haven't seen any sort of data on this specific issue however i'd wager like most everything else in this game, shits situational and it would really depend on alot of varying conditions such as mob lvl, type, food type etc. I think it might be safe to say for most things you would see an overall better performance with the Torque provided that it is being stacked with SA otherwise the gorget should come out on top. but I don't have thf leveled so the answer may be gapingly obvious to anyone who does, I can't say for sure but thats my take on the matter.

I'd only recommend using a gorget for Shark Bite. That's assuming you have a Love Torque. If you don't, you most likely don't have decent enough equipment for a good Evisceration build (a seemingly random assumption you might think, but it's true 99% of the time.) This leaves you with DE and Shark Bite. Shark Bite is a lot more reliable than DE and you'll see more of an improvement using a gorget with it than you will with DE.

after this post the KI cummuty felt the need to deral my question so i was wondering what you guys had to say.

I got light gorget for rng mainly. I am able to use it on evis correct? (gravitation and transfixion ws) so I was wondering for me if evis was better for me to use then DE. I'm talking more of a farming/ exp scene not hnms and all that.

I had a secondary concern on some feedback of my next ws gorget and yea went to hell after that.

fTP +0.1 is not +10% damage. It would be between 3.33% and 5% increase for Shark Bite.
