I've recently been hearing a lot of confusion about whether Cuchulain's Mantle is right for you and your TP needs so I've constructed a very easy to understand flow chart that isn't as much a chart as it is words on this post.

Over the course of a 2hr meripo it looks like it would add 5.2k to my overall damage. I can't say whether or not that is worth 3.5M to me though.

I don't think people are necessarily right when they say Morrigan's is always better than Mirage. At least, I don't think it's really been sufficiently debated, and the default opinion derives from the "between two nearly equivalent alternatives, rarer and more expensive = better" phenomenon in human reasoning. (That has a specific name I think but I forget it.)

I haven't really thought about it carefully before because I own the former but not the latter. Thinking about it now, if Morrigan's is better for TP it's probably going to be when fSTR isn't capped (or Accuracy is, as has been said) and you get 2 extra base damage per hit from it, which doesn't really apply in the foragers vs. cuchulains case.

To be honest, if Cuchulain's Mantle was 300k we wouldn't be having this debate at all. Everyone and their mother would be wearing one with a T-Shirt reading "Cuchulain's for me!"

I understand the reluctance to drop 3.5mil for a relatively small increase (and yes, it is almost always a small increase barring that fucking gugnir drg up there) but I didn't make this to debate whether the price was worth it or not.

I'm bombarded daily with excuses regarding why Cuchulain's isn't as good as Forager's or Cerb +1 and the fact is that they're all terrible fucking excuses by people who don't want to give up their whitebox or spend more money. If that's you, fine, I understand.

Just don't come in here touting bullshit like "I'm at capped ACC on xxx job 24/7 lalala everything I do I hit everything I'm a beeeeeeeeeeeeast." No, you're not. You suck and you can't count and assume that GC's = the rest of the game.

I'm really fucking happy that you cap accuracy on birds, that's a glorious. Do you also do it 24/7 on Mamools? Do you stare bravely down the barrel of your Scythe at Mamool Ja Lurkers and go, "Madrigal? Ha! I'll eat a Blind Potion!" Even if at the pinnacle of gear sets it is only situationally useful, that still makes it useful to all of you at some time. The price tag is high, sure, but it's worth having.

Usually? Ace's. But yes, blitz ring for WAR DRK DRG and walahra turban for DRG SAM DRK become awesome options the moment your hitrate is capped.

I use Relic Body for TPing and I own both items, I also do spells in AF+1 body and mostly just shine with Robe, when figthing harder shit I use Homam Corazza, sucks I don't use my BLU that often though.
For me Relic / Homam > Robe for TPing. But I have not really done any great tests or anything, just going with that I need more ACC when I can get it, and Robe does not really provide that.

In most situations, it won't be the case, but if you are currently capped Acc with Ace's+Foragers...switching to Turban+Cuchulain's will be an upgrade (assume you have some decent support as far as haste/march goes).
