I do not know how some of you do it man. Grats to all that have uber gil!
The most I ever had was just over 5 mil. Two friends left close to the same time and gave me all their stuff. I bought the blessed stuff for my whm back then and one of them came back and I re sold the blessed stuff to re buy his drk stuff for him lol. This was a few years back on Bismarck. I now have a wopping 2 mil and thats after another long time friend has retired. One of you guys with stacks of gil on Bis should buy my brd a manteel so I'll be cool like the other brd's!

I maxed out around 30 mil during inflation, but after buying a pcc for 25mil and keeping it to this day that was all gone. Now I have around 2-3mil across mules, having just finished usu body.

I've never run out of things to buy in this game so no matter what i'm generating each week or month, I haven't gone far past whatever short term goal I've set.

I'm still kind of slapping myself for not selling the PCC I got from BCNM for 35 mil when I could. This was before everybody had sea and was /fapping over torques and whatnot, so I felt really uber having the best neck piece available on my toon.

Now? PCC is what, 2.5, maybe 2 mil? I could have sold it back then the rebought for a huge profit, and probably be set for a LONG time on FFXI.

Things like Osodes, Ancient Beastcoins, Blau Dolchs..expensive items back then, but now somewhat more affordable.

Moral of the story? If you have some ridiculously priced omfg gear, it's going to become cheap/reasonably priced at some point in the game.

150k now. I always immediately blow gil on stuff, I have a wishlist (sort of) and I just work the list down. Currently deciding between Cuchulain's or Love torque (not in a good sea LS atm, torque for for 3M).

I'll finally hit the 35mil mark to buy a kclub and one will finally drop in the bc -_- Yes I know "woe is me" but I work my butt off for what I have, and the irony of that happening might have me slamming my head into the table.
