11M, soon to triple :D
11M, soon to triple :D
220k, due to limbus and lack of selling overpriced coins. as well as buying a penitents rope for my gimp blm
I'm no RMT but If I had 600M I would sell that shit so fast, idiots buy gil $35/mil that's $21,000, fuck FFXI. It has to be fake.
"I'm no rmt but if i had gil i'd sell it"
sorry, what?
$21k would pay off my student loans instantly. I want to hack Sano so badly.
Just out of curiosity.. what happens when you hit max gil (the 999,999,999 threshold), and you sell something and get the gil for it? Does the game roll over your gil, give you a buffer over the max gil displayed or say "lol, screw you, you already got too much gil, you ain't getting paid!"
This is where all mine went at the height of inflation. 550m was only about 5k but that was such an easy decision.
I planned to leave for good but then the wife wanted to play againI sure hate starting over from scratch though, crafting used to be so much more fun hehe
how much gil do you need to be considered "rich"?
More than that guy.
Enough to play around a little if i need to gamble
3.1 million + mule change.
"Rich" is a very subjective thing. At this point in the game a good indication of rich could be: "capable of working on a relic or mythic weapon", as in, it wouldn't be completely ridiculous/take you years. This includes liquid gil and sellable luxuries (which is a whole other debate, seperating luxuries from essentials is not what I want to do).
"Rich" could also mean: "I have worked a fair bit for my above-average gearset and now I can outparse gimps with relics, which makes me warm and fuzzy inside", or "with this gear I've farmed for I can finally solo Seiryo!". E-peen is an important stat in FFXI, etc.
I would pay 10,000 gil for a merit point in a heartbeat, though I would likely find myself bored with the game fast (I like meriting >_>)
Because you want to get Maat's cap and you don't want to grind it 66 levels. Has nothing to do with actually playing the job, or planning to play it at endgame.
Jobs I plan to play, I level in regular xp parties. I will level some jobs in SMN burn though because either all the skills are capped already or I don't care to really play it at endgame but I want it leveled.
Because people don't really have to learn a job when it's their ninth or so. I really like leveling too but a shitty party really pisses me off and makes me abandon the job for a bit. The ideal non-Astral route is probably something like 28-54 Yhoatorburn, 55-74 Lesserburn and then merits. I've stuck to mainly that (with some empty Aydeewa-at-60 goodness when Lessers were taken) when I did DRG+BRD dualbox but before that I singleboxed and leveling was a lot more fun so it didn't matter to me.
