This is my absolute greatest fear. One of these days the epic combination of hangover and WG lag will cause me to buy a stack of crystals for bazillion gil, and my neighborhood will be awash in dead bodies.

During inflation, at least 100~150m. If I would've known shit would become so cheap back then, I would've quit for 2-3 years, come back, and enjoy the game so much more :/

I remember selling a Scorpion Harness a friend gave me for 14m. Now its about 180k or such on my server ;-;. Also remember buying all NQ elemental staves, which in total cost about 4-5m. Those were the good ol' days.

That tends to depend upon the day...gil remains pretty much static during college though. Only tend to farm enough, or have time to farm enough to maintain gil balance.

Just dipped below a million gil... Came back after three years away, had some money left and somehow found eleven or so earth ores I hadn't sold when I was clearing out my gardening mules so I could cancel their content IDs.

Then gave 5 m gil to my friend who just started the game so I could properly bribe him into staying and getting properly addicted to this game.

I really gotta find a new way to make gil too since I just hate seeing that gil counter below ten million.

I've sat on an account with over 300m after selling a KC during the inflation... My own highest on Sev is around 40m after a Speed Belt sale. I'm currently sitting at about 4m, but I was at like 12m last week (Salvage body woes). I tend to hover around this point, too.

On Gilgamesh as Artifact, I had probably near 120M. I crafted smithing to 80ish throughout inflation, however I got it back with an HQ Haub synth. I spent a good amount of it towards 3 stages of an Amano, which is now gone. I had to re-buy sky items for certain reasons /lol. I spent pretty much all of my gil on that and now I can't seem to find my way above 2M to buy an E-bow.

The game doesn't seem fun anymore without being able to make gil. I have smithing, but with not much gil to take risks, not much of a chance to make it big again.
