Sadly it was never mentioned in the Manga but it had to be a large enough sum to move Sheksa's mother into a better hospital which was more than what she was making working in the library before she was fired.

They were able to cover a chapter and a half last episode so I can see them pulling out 52 episodes to cover the manga if the Manga does end at chapter 100.

Thing is, once they get past the greed arc, they won't really have much of a leeway to leave part of the storytelling unmentioned, since from there on it'd be all new storyline.

They were skipping a lot these past few episodes because they can go with the assumption that the viewer watch the first run, they really can't do that once it gets onto manga onry content.

But then again, this is just my assumption, they could keep up the current story pace, and I personally wouldn't be affected since I do read the manga, but there is a good chance that those who doesn't will be left in the dark on some events.

they arent skipping anything important to the story. viewers dont have to assume anything, cause theres nothing to assume.

what does leaving that out affect? Lust said she was the one to burn it down in the anime already, and she has appeared with Marcoh.

well, there is a clash that was involved, and the whole her threatening to wipe out the village if he tried to escape etc.

the only thing thats out of the episode is how Lust found the books location, and that Lust threatened Marcoh.
Lust said she burned down the library, and we saw her with marcoh earlier. that connection is real hard to miss. and marcoh being threatened was said a couple of times I believe in other places.
Remember how they skipped the mining town ep and they skipped Frenchy? they solved that problem with a 5 second introduction.

Also, Marcoh being threatened with his town being destroyed is a big thing. It defines the character.
