The death in general didn't get me to cry, but that quote did, despite just having been diagnosed with a raring case of pink eye. The first time around it got me too.

Not sure which version of that episode was better though. I am leaning towards this most recent one....but I haven't seen the original in so long.

In the original anime (or the manga), did they explain how the homunculus even found out about hughes learning whatever he did? In this version he starts drawing shit on a map and lust is there stabbing him 5 seconds later.

V1 had Hughes trying to set up an appointment with Marcoh (who was captured by the homunculus by this point), which caused some immediate skepticism. V2 pretty much captured the manga piece for piece.

FMA and Soul Eater both come out around the 10-15th of the month. Claymore 2nd-6th.
And I thought the v1 FMA anime was a pretty great anime.

FMA isn't too bad, it's just lacking a lot of endgame and climax tbh, and the movie didn't do much to help that.

I mean, how many great fight was in the last arc of the first series?

Lust vs Wrath was about the only decent one, everything else is too boring or just deus ex machina'd into a plot point...which was pretty lame.

In contrast, the manga has some pretty fucking amazing fight so far.

Man Souleater took a WTF turn last chapter...
FMA each chapter that comes out you are expecting the beginning of the final climax to the series, but we end up with the story being extended.
