Yeah, kinda stopped caring what some fags on forums think a long ass time ago. I said that I was personally boycotting it because the fact that it took so fucking long, when I can fucking just download it in a different language that I understand. In other words they are too slow so they lose my support, this isn't uncommon.

As of today I am personally boycotting English fan subs for FMA brotherhood, until a more dedicated and dependable fan sub group puts them out. I am tired of waiting all fucking goddamn day and seeing 3rd world countries get it out there faster than us. Going to support a Spanish sub group that does some pretty good translations for the episodes, fuck this molasses slow progress, no excuse for this shit.

I just expect subs on Monday, not Sunday. If I'm desperate, maybe I'd find a LQ stream Sunday night.

But if we're gonna direct rage, let's do it at the NA side of anime distribution where waiting 6+ months to bring anything across the pond is considered cool. Much as some folks here rag on English dubs (bonus points if they don't even speak Japanese), I'd love joint releases.

As someone mentioned, Manga comes out once a month, and when it does we generally have to wait 2 days sometimes 3 for translations. We are extremely spoiled when it comes to fansubs and manga translations because in the past, we had to wait very long periods of time for them to come out...hell some 8+ years ago, we had to rely on people taping shows on VHS and having them hardcode the subs into the video and then wait for them to be shipped over or distributed through various resources. There was a comic book store near my house that had the who DBZ series on VHS fansubbed and the quality of the tapes were often terrible due to it being 6th generation (Copy of a Copy, of a Copy, of a Copy, of a Copy, of the Original VHS). We should seriously be thankful that they are even doing this for free and actually doing this for fans.

Honestly though, if you think you can put out Fansubs faster, then by all means go for it. If you can't, just let them handle it and wait patiently like everyone else.
