formulaic shows are successful for a reason (people like the formula). But beyond that you need a pretty high level of knowledge about a huge variety of things for Lost that is lost on the average viewer anywhere..

Those ratings are depressing. =/ As someone else said, I'm enjoying this much more than the original series. Seeing all the epic stuff from the manga, finally animated, is great. Oh well, as long as it covers the entire manga (once they finish it), I will be happy.

Some of the voices for 2.0 are new and sometimes people just don't adjust. Also, the first 30 chapters of the manga were very close to 1.0 anime so it's not that surprising that the ratings are that bad. I'd like to see how the ratings are in a few weeks when stuff really starts to get exciting.

Yes. Sadly, DESTINY had better ratings than the superior 00. D:

As far as the ratings.. that really sucks. =[ I'm loving Brotherhood and how it's handling things.Maybe people were just turned off by the start and stopped watching the series which reflects the ratings as of now. I hope it rebounds.

Some more stuff about the ratings.

The ratings in the graph are from the Kantou region. For whatever reason, this series seems to be doing better in the Kansai region. It's hit the Top 10 a couple of times as a result.

Kantou on the left, Kansai on the right:

August 2nd: 4.0% 5.2%
August 9th: 3.0% 4.4%
August 16th: 2.9% 6.0%
August 23rd: No Episode
August 30th: 1.6% 3.3%

The August 30th ratings are probably as a result of the week off.

No English subs for 23 yet or the latest Chapter of the manga, the "fanbase" sure has been a lot of fail lately. What a shame too because this episode was actually a lot crazier/better than the last one.

I was really annoyed with how TMD posted English subs for LAST week's episode, such a cocktease while people were waiting on them. Sucks for you guys.

I can see why, they made a mistake with the subs. A bunch of sentences were crumpled together in one subtitle line of timing hahaha, it was pretty funny but still understandable.
