I sooner associated amestris with america than germany in my head even with the whole fuhrer thing. It's probably an amalgamation between the two though. Regionally the muslims and the jews arent that far off either so I wouldnt be surprised by that being an amalgamation either.

The movie made the Scar/Lust cameo as part of the Gypsie in the beginning though.

But Bradley was a loljew on that, so take it with a grain of salt, or just flat out pretend it never existed in the first place like I did.

Xing is more of an amalgamation of China and Japan, since Ran Fan and Fu are more or less Ninja, and I don't remember them being in China. Though Japan did pay tribute to China and was more or less a Chinese protectorate along with Korea way back in the days.

It's kind of unnerving that FMA is very likely coming to a close (granted, itll take 5 months). With the story wrapping up on the manga side and the show very likely being done by episode 52 yet again we're getting to a lot of crazy stuff.

Mei shows up and heals Riza to make her wounds non life threatening. Wrath shows up and uses his swords and pierces both of mustangs hands into the ground and we see a transmutation circle

I have to saying I'm enjoying this series a lot having never read the manga, but what are the odds of this getting an English dub with same voice actors they had for FMA? I thought they did a fantastic job with that dub and thus it has been crowned the best dub of all time IMO.

i honestly don't remember other seiyuu beside kugimiya rie and paku romi on the first season of FMA to notice enough of the difference.

also helps that half the cast is more or less new at this point.

I'm glad Riza is still alive, was really worried after last month. But, now Mustang looks pretty screwed. He seems like the type that won't die though and will end up the Fuhrer in the end.

I'd imagine Bradley forced it by using the Philosopher Stone as the payment like how Ed initiated the gateway through Envy from Gluttony and putting Mustang's hand on the Alchemic Circle while providing the material for it (the dead doctor)

Something along these lines, but I always though doing alchemy involved more than putting your hand on the circle...otherwise, anyone should be able to trigger alchemy. I'm just curious to see why it count as mustang doing alchemy.

Alchemy requires a rune and ability to manipulate the power source. I'd imagine the rune is already drawn/created by wrath's body, and the alchemic power would be manipulated by the philosopher stone since it's basically a concentrated alchemical energy

I read it more as Wrath sticking Mustang in the correct position, but Pride is the one that enables it to happen. He has his 'shadow' circling around and what could be called a catalyst suspended above.

I can't remember Pride's abilities ever being explained much, so maybe we're seeing some here, or I'm completely wrong.
