Man, can't wait for next weeks to see Mustang kick some ass. Last 2 episodes have been incredible. 51 will Al coming out form the smoke, I was wide eyed the whole time, and then 52 when Mustang blew the door open. Can't wait!

This episode was great, but the part against the zombie was really underwhelming in the anime. The animation felt terrible compared to the rest of the episode, and they were surprisingly unefficient against these extremely slow monsters (can't you just crush them all using alchemy or w/e, it's not like they will dodge). Anyway, great stuff nonetheless, I'm just nitpicking.

I was thinking the same thing. You summon pillars for every situation imaginable, but when it would actually be REALLY effective, here's my SPEAR! lol

I know they have to put some limits on where and how they use their alchemy since it's theoretically really overpowered... but why can't he put them in a giant box and shrink it or something? They're not overly strong or fast...

But, I'm just nitpicking too, practically perfect anime is practically perfect.

Quick question: This anime is going to end soon, right? It isn't ongoing, or having more manga written, correct?

And yes, the anime is going to end soon (I'm giving it around 10 episodes or so). Manga isn't over yet, but there is 2 or 3 chapters left at most. There is no official number as far as I know, but it's definitively close to the end.

I actually really enjoyed the Conqueror of Shambla and how they ended the fake FMA. If they manage to do a similar idea with a movie ending that would be pretty cool in my opinion.

They seem to be slow, but at times they seem to move fast as hell. I have no clue what to think with them really. Im just say its one of the "ya had to happen" sorta out of place things. ~_~ then again we dont know what the areas made out of, if all they would do is break out/reform.

well, for one, I don't think they are philosopher stones, they are only souls implanted in bodies with the stone.

2nd, even if they were philosopher stones, they would have to know alchemy to use it, which they most likely don't.

I believe each soul in the giant vat of philosopher's stones was bound to one doll; they don't have the gigantic reserve of souls to regenerate with like the regular homonculi.

Yeah, I know... I usually watch something, realize I like it a lot, then feel like I'm so far ahead I'd be bored reading all the issues I've already watched. I did this with Bleach, though I haven't watched that in over a year now.

Though, FMA is probably my favorite anime so far, so maybe I'd still enjoy it.
