I'm such a damn softy, I got teary eyed in so many places this episode. What a great ending!

You know, I've cried plenty of times throughout this series, but this wasn't one of them. I guess it was more like one massive grin the entire time and I was just really happy with everything. Especially the grow'd-up shot at the end and throwing in Paninya for good measure lol

All in all, I was really happy with this episode and this entire series. I can't wait to watch it all over again in 1 or 2 years lol

As for the movie, I'm really excited for it. I honestly don't see them fucking this up because a.) they did so well with this anime and b.) they now have a ton of awesome directions to take the story in. Can't wait!

epilogue was somewhat disappointing to me since it didn't really add anything extra compared to the manga's

that being said, i still loved ed's and winry's confession scene animated

as far as movie goes, i just hope it'll have less nazi than the last one.

although i would love it being a chronicles of ed's and al's second journey

Did Brotherhood end? ... and did it follow the end of the manga or they went off in a different direction again? Or they're doing a movie for Brotherhood and gonna put the manga ending there...?

I wasn't gonna watch the rest of brotherhood until they were done with it, but CH108 just came out recently so I'm already getting a bit disappointed that it seems like they're not going with the manga ending? :/ But it sounds like the ending they went with is good anyway?

Brotherhood ended and it followed the manga perfectly.

FMA: Brotherhood was made with the intent of following the manga as close as possible. When they started it they knew that the manga was winding down, and had everything timed so that they would both end right about the same time.

As for the final episode, I absolutely loved it. It was one of the best endings to a show (and manga) that I have seen.

Not trying to start any gay argument but, the episode before this hit me a lot harder then this one did. The epilogue is nice and all, but I still think the last episode was a bigger tear jerker as far as endings go. Nevertheless, beautiful ending to a series as close to a perfect anime as possible. Going to be a long time before I feel the same way about a series.

Last time was Neon Genesis Evangelion ending and that was what? 10~12 years ago. Yeah, it's gonna be awhile.

Agreed, rofl. I was like "Wait... what? What the fuck?"

But yeah. previous episode of FMA:B was a tear jerker, but THIS episode's ending with the epilogue and all was just so bittersweet. I wish they'd kept Alysia's line in there from the manga, but eh. Can't have everything. Still.. seeing that Ed and Win's other kid was indeed their's and a little girl was nice.

caught up on all the episodes while i was sick 2 weeks ago without realizing it was so close to ending. Then this ending, started to choke up when Winry saw Ed & al with their normal bodies. Good shit Great manga/anime. easily 2nd place in my heart now. Trigun being first, still waiting on that fucking movie.
