The Nodame Cantabile live action drama will never be topped for awesomeness.

But seriously they cast some pretty boy from an insipid boy band (and I say this as an idol fan) as Ed, not an actual actor. So.

    Yeah.

(they do this a lot, agencies that idols belong to pretty much run everything entertainment-wise in Japan, so unqualified people are always getting acting jobs. this is why no one takes modern japanese film seriously)

The final chunk of the series has finally been added to Netflix.

Only took like 6-7 years? I think I remember watching it on Netflix in late 2011 after I had a surgery, and couldn't finish it while being bedridden and had to view the ending through the seven seas.

The live action anime was absolutely horrible. I wish I can just un-watch it. I expected something more from Netflix!!!

Netflix didn't make it they just licensed it.
