Today's POL Update / Anti-virus / POL Errors

So just tried to log on and had to update POL viewer. Now I cant access membership pages, I just get random POL errors like 1403.. I can still log into FFXI tho. This is posted on the POL update info:

So I have spyware doctor, avg, and the default norton anti-virus that came on computer. My question is how do you fix this..? What settings do I need to change?

It sounds like you just need to allow the programs access from your AV. I'm not quite sure why you have AVG AND Norton. I woulda thought two AV would conflict with each other. Perhaps this is why your having the problem.

Edit: It would appear alot of other people are having the same problem and the chances of them all having 2 AV are slim so I would perhaps wait and see what the general community does if allowing the programs access in your AV doesn't work.

Kind of a dupe post since we started talking about this in the other thread but access to the "Service & Support" -> "Membership" page seems to be screwed up. And I'm 100% the error I'm getting is not AV related.

The only error I'm getting is the size of the O in "PlayOnline" is more than ridiculous.

i just ran this update while I had my second account already open in FFXI, which may have been my initial mistake, but since doing that, when i try to logon (using my usual windower shortcut) I get into the POL screen, but see no "windower enabled", and it boots using the blue pol screen instead of the mandy boot screen.

When i get to the final play button to open FFXI, it crashes and gives me some dirext X BS.

Anyone else had this from the update?

Is anyone elses main menu screen in pol totally borked? Basically I can see "Game, Navigator" etc etc. Except its just black letters on my background. The "menu" itself, the frame- is entirely gone. Relogged and rebooted, its still this way... I updated with normal PoL viewer and see this in both windower and pol viewer.
